My friend and I were recommended to try the borscht here by a lady in the nearby Museum of Ukranian Art. The restaurant is oddly located down the hall of an office building so that when you are seated by the window you look out into a white linoleum hallway. In true Eastern Bloc fashion, the waitress sighed when we walked in (“… argh… I must again serve customers”). But despite the awkwardness, this borscht was quite tasty. Unlike Polish borscht, this stuff was full of all kinds of veggies; cabbage, potatoes, beans, etc. Extremely hearty.

Neil Young Album: “Ragged Glory” (1990)
It’s an abrupt change from the rest. It appears to have anger in it’s demeanor, but is actually good-hearted. Full of chunkiness.
